Sound healing practitioner

My story

How sound found me

I am a Registered Nurse, certified sound therapist, and osteopathy student based in Fall River, Nova Scotia. By blending my clinical foundation with holistic modalities, I offer an integrative approach to physical, emotional, and energetic well-being.

In 2018, my world shifted when I was diagnosed with brain cancer. Navigating cancer treatment was one of the most challenging experiences of my life, but it also became the doorway to my deepest healing. During that time, I turned to sound therapy as a vital tool to support my body through treatment, quiet my mind, and calm my nervous system. Experiencing firsthand how restorative frequencies helped me process trauma, manage stress, and recover led me to fully devote myself to this work.

My foundation in healthcare is rooted in nursing, which provides me with a thorough, evidence-grounded understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and patient care. Combining this clinical background with my personal recovery journey, I pursued formal training as a sound healing practitioner through the Sound Healing Academy and became a member of the International Sound Therapy Association. Today, I also continue to expand my practice through osteopathic studies.

My Approach to Healing

In my sound therapy sessions, I work with a full 432 Hz set of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, Koshi chimes, and targeted 128 Hz weighted tuning forks. Whether I am facilitating a group sound bath or offering targeted vibrational work, my goal is to create a safe, deeply restorative space where your nervous system can downshift and your body can access its innate capacity to realign and heal.

Philosophy

How I work

01

Meet you where you are

There is no right way to receive sound. Whether you arrive anxious, sceptical, or simply curious, the bowls don't judge. My role is to hold space — not to perform.

02

The body knows

Sound therapy works with the nervous system's own intelligence. I don't fix anything. I create conditions in which the body can do what it already knows how to do: regulate, restore, and rest.

03

Rooted in science, open to mystery

I take the research seriously — the vagal tone studies, the brainwave entrainment data, the trauma-informed frameworks. And I hold space for the parts that science hasn't caught up to yet.
